Facilities Engineer

This is a full-time position in our Denver office and reports directly to the Team Lead, Production & Facilities Engineering.

The Production & Facilities Engineering team is responsible to deliver production from ~285 facility pads with ~390 wells in North Dakota and Montana. The team works closely with operations and construction to manage operating expenses and a facility budget of ~$40 MM per year.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities:

  • Project engineering EPC duties for Natural Gas & Oil production facilities, including design scope, cost estimating, regulatory approvals, construction plans, equipment and services procurement, contract administration, schedule and budget control, commissioning and start up support
  • Manage outside consultant EPC project assignments
  • Conduct design and HAZOP reviews for projects
  • Co-ordinate site builds with construction team
  • Provide technical support to production and field operations related to surface equipment and control systems (indcluding generators, gas lift compressors, ESP’s, pumping units)
  • Conduct facility optimization studies


Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical)
  • Minimum 5 years related project engineering work
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have previous facility operating experience in the Williston Basin
  • Travel to Enerplus field operations is a requirement
