We hold over 230,000 acres of undeveloped land in the Williston Basin area of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Montana and North Dakota that hold significant potential for tight oil. Our Bakken activities are focused on two key assets – Fort Berthold, our growing Bakken/Three Forks play in the highly prolific region of Dunn, Mackenzie and Maclean counties in North Dakota and Sleeping Giant, our mature Bakken field in Richland County, Montana.
Our Bakken/tight oil resource play accounts for nearly 20% of our total proved plus probable reserves as well as nearly 18.5% of our daily production. Third party estimates at December 31, 2010 suggest our North Dakota lands hold a best estimate of 60 million BOE contingent resources attributable to the Bakken with 90 future drilling locations. We are currently evaluating further upside that may be also present in the Three Forks formation across this region.
We plan to spend $350 million on our Bakken/Tight oil assets in 2012. Production is expected to grow by approximately 30% from 17,000 BOE/day exiting 2011 to approximately 22,000 BOE/day exiting 2012.
