At Enerplus, there is a strong focus on building a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with the more than 4,000 regulatory rules we face in our operations, minimizing our environmental footprint and, most importantly, living by our word.

The foundation of this focus is premised on our corporate policies and our management systems. Managing safety successfully on work sites also requires strong ongoing data management and communication between Enerplus and its contractors. To facilitate this, we use prequalification (Contractor Database) and safety data management (ISNetworld) systems.

All onsite contractors must maintain a passing grade within one of our prequalification safety data management systems to be eligible for work at Enerplus sites. Contractors working in Canada whose work is deemed to be ‘safety sensitive’ must subscribe to the online prequalification system ISNetworld.
