Enerplus has a diversified portfolio of crude oil and natural gas assets located in western Canada and the United States. Our portfolio is comprised of approximately 50% resource plays such as shallow gas, Bakken oil, oil sands and coalbed methane. In addition, crude oil waterfloods are similar to resource plays in that the oil in place is a relatively known quantity and the challenge is how to best extract the oil and maximize recovery.

The remainder of our portfolio is comprised of other conventional oil and gas assets located in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. This diversification within our asset base provides valuable insight across the industry.
