Enerplus has a diversified portfolio of crude oil and natural gas assets located in western Canada and the United States. Our strategy has been to build a balanced portfolio of properties that produce both crude oil and natural gas and offers diversity both geographically and geologically. This approach helps us to mitigate risks associated with any one commodity as well as gives us exposure to many play types across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

Our operations are focused on resource plays which are areas where there are large deposits of oil and gas and the challenge is extracting the reserves economically and efficiently versus finding them. Our resource plays include shallow gas/coal bed methane, tight gas, crude oil waterfloods, Bakken/Tight oil and oil sands located in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
