North Dakota

Bakken

Enerplus’ operations are concentrated in the core of the Bakken / Three Forks light oil shale play where we hold ~235,600 net acres in North Dakota. The acreage is primarily located across the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, as well as in Williams and Dunn Counties. Our focus on continuous improvement, combined with our core acreage position have helped us deliver top quartile basin well productivity and capital efficient production growth. With a large remaining opportunity set, North Dakota will continue to drive Enerplus’ light oil production growth for years to come.

2022 PRODUCTION: 65,370 BOE/DAY

Marcellus Shale

Northeast Pennsylvania

Enerplus holds an interest in ~32,500 net acres in the dry gas window of the Marcellus shale in northeast Pennsylvania. This non-operated position located across Susquehanna, Bradford, Wyoming, Sullivan and Lycoming counties has a deep inventory of highly productive future drilling locations. The continued buildout of pipeline infrastructure in the basin has improved regional natural gas prices and, as a result, the Marcellus has become a strong contributor to our cash flow.
